Do I need a referral?
You don’t need a referral to see a dietitian to claim a refund from your private health fund. Veteran Affairs patients and those on EPC plans do require a referral from your doctor.
What is a care plan (EPC)?
A care plan is a plan prescribed by your doctor, when you meet certain medical criteria. This entitles you to five visits claimable through Medicare each calendar year. We bulk bill these consultations for pensioners, health care card holders and children under 16 years.
What is our Cancellation Policy?
It is not our aim to make profits from cancellation fees, rather to make sure those appointment times are kept available for others who need them. Failure to attend an appointment is unfair to other patients and takes up the dietitian’s time unnecessarily.
Should you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact the clinic at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time to avoid paying the full fee. Enhanced Primary Care patients (EPC) will be billed our private consultations fee. For full details regarding our cancellation terms and condition please follow the link: Cancellation Policy

Do we do phone and Skype consultations?
Our phone and skype consultations are perfect for anyone living out of town, tied to their desk or who just find it hard to make it to a dietitian’s office. If your appointment is via Skype, you just need to let us know your Skype address at the time of your booking or via email.
We will call you via Skype or Phone at the appointed time. All Private, Medicare and DVA appointments need to be face to face to attract a refund from your private health insurance or Medicare.
