Low FODMAP Peanut Butter Brownie Bites

1 cup rolled oats

¼ cup golden syrup

½ cup peanut butter, smooth

2 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp chia seeds

¼ cup chocolate chips


  1. Place oats and peanut butter in a food processor. Pulse until oats are coarsely ground and just mixed with the peanut butter.

  2. Add chocolate chips, golden syrup, cocoa powder and chia seeds and pulse until well combined. (If the mixture seems too dry – pulse in a tablespoon golden syrup until the desired, slightly sticky, easy to roll, consistency is achieved.)

  3. Using damp hands, roll mixture into balls, 3cm in diameter (or 20 grams), then refrigerate until set.
