Solutions with Food is committed to providing exceptional care to all of our patients regardless of age, sex, race or background. To make sure we can provide the best possible care it is important that we can offer a system of appointments that are available to all patients at times that are convenient for both the practitioner and the patient.

Failure to attend appointments means that other people are denied the opportunity to access our dietetic services. This is unfair to other clients. It is for this reason we have developed a clear and simple cancellation/no-show policy for patients. The biggest driver behind the policy is to ensure that patients attend their appointments, or provide notice if they do not want to.

The policy

□     All patients will receive a text message from Solutions with Food 48 hours before there appointment. The cancellation fee will be mentioned to patients.

□     Patients have 48hrs before there appointment to cancel or reschedule there appointment.

□     Patients may reschedule their appointment up to 24hrs beforehand, however, they must attend there next appointment.

□     Any patient who wants to reschedule or cancel an appointment within 24hrs will be charged a $70 fee.

□     Patients who do not attend and do not provide adequate notice will be charged a $70 fee.

□     If there are extreme circumstances that prevent you from attending your appointment, you must get in contact with Solutions with Food as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. Solutions with Food reserves the right to still charge a $70 fee, however, will take into account a person’s extreme circumstance.

Complaints or Queries

All complaints or queries about this policy are to be directed to Solutions with Food via email at admin@solutionsfood.com.au. We will endeavour to respond to them within 3 business days.
